Properties: This product is a blue red powder, which is an anthraquinone pigment.
It has excellent fastness, excellent heat resistance and migration resistance. The melting point is 350 °C, and the relative density is 1.45~1.53.
Method:
1. Production principle
Sodium 1-amino-4-bromoanthraquinone-2 sulfonate (sodium bromide) condenses in the presence of copper powder to form 4,4′-diamino-1,1-dianthraquinone-3,3′-disulfonic acid. Then the sulfonic acid group is removed in dilute sulfuric acid to obtain bianthraquinone red.
2. Technical formula
1-Amino-4-bromoanthraquinone-2-sulfonate sodium 64 copper powder 30.4
3. Production process
(1) Condensation
4g of sodium 1-amino-4-anthraquinone-2-sulfonate, 1.9g of copper powder and 0.7~1.2g of 50% sulfuric acid were added to the reaction flask, stirred for 1.5h at 90 °C, neutralized with sodium carbonate solution while hot until alkaline, filtered, heated to 80~100 °C, salted out with sodium chloride, filtered at 60~80 °C, washed with 2% sodium chloride solution, and the crude product of the condensation reaction was obtained, 4,4′-diamino-1,1′-dianthraquinone-3,3′-disulfonate. Add 4g of crude product to 100mL of hot water, and add 0.5g of activated carbon at 90~98 °C. Filtration, filtrate with sodium chloride salting out. It was then filtered and washed with 2% sodium chloride solution to obtain a refined brown-red condensation product.
(2) Desulfonic acid group
3.3g of refined condensation product (4,4′-diamino-1,1′-diananthraquinone-3,3′-sodium disulfonate) was added to the reaction flask, and then 80% aqueous solution prepared by 24g of sulfuric acid was added, and the reaction was stirred at 135~140 °C for 3.5h, and the reaction end point was detected by thin layer chromatography. After the reaction is completed, it is cooled to 60 °C, poured into the ice-water mixture, filtered, washed with a dilute sodium hydroxide solution, washed with water, and dried to obtain a dark red desulfurization product 4,4′-diamino-1,1′-anthraquinone crude pigment.
(3) Pigmentation treatment
The wet filter cake of the desulfonization product was added with 0.1g of surfactant and 10mL of 5% rosin according to the dry product weight of 2g, stirred at 85~95 °C for 1h, and then acidified to make its pH value 5~6, filtered, washed and dried to obtain the product anthraquinone red.
